[11:13:43] <sep> iQuestion, if you can live with the restrictions... something like  smtpd_sender_login_maps, and reject_sender_login_mismatch ;
[11:13:58] <sep> will enforce that the sender have to be valid. (the virus can not fake senders)
[11:15:07] <sep> so when someone spams it will have to happen on a valid account from your system, and the user on that account should notice fairly quickly something is wrong. (he will get bounces on email he did not send)

[11:16:13] <sep> also have alerts on your mailq. it will normaly grow to abnormal size when someone spams.
[11:19:07] <UQlev> iQuestion: to get blacklisted your server do not need to send big number of spam. So rate limit may not protect you from getting black-listed
[11:20:12] <sep> iQuestion, you will get blacklisted anyway ofcourse. you have to focus on early detection.
[11:20:15] <UQlev> iQuestion: you should monitor your server statistics at least daily especially for bounces
[11:20:42] <iQuestion> yes the mailserver is currently running for about 8000 customers... So i have to figure out a way to make some good restrictions without making them unable to send their mails
